About
Coverage is a maintenance problem, and almost nobody maintains it.
Every institution that owns equities employs people whose whole job is to keep reading — to notice when a risk factor changed, when a CFO stopped repeating a number, when a footnote grew.
Everyone else buys a position, forms a view, and then lets that view go stale while the price keeps moving and provides no information about whether the reasoning still holds.
We think that gap is closable now, and that closing it is mostly a question of discipline rather than intelligence: read the primary documents, on a schedule, and refuse to say anything you can't point at.
Principles
What we believe.
The primary document is the product.
Summaries are a convenience layer over filings, not a replacement for them. Everything Claroo writes links back to the paragraph it came from, and we would rather show you a citation you did not ask for than a claim you cannot check.
Coverage beats prediction.
We have no forecast for any security and no intention of developing one. Knowing what changed is tractable. Knowing what happens next is not, and most products that claim otherwise are selling confidence.
Boring is the feature.
A good brief on a quiet morning is four lines long. We are not trying to increase your time in the app.
You make the calls.
Claroo does not rate, rank, or recommend. It reports. The judgment is the part you are actually good at, and it is the part we have no business automating.
Questions about the company rather than the product? hello@clarooai.com — we answer those ourselves.
You make the calls. We do the bleak parts.
Connect a portfolio, or just paste in ten tickers. The first brief lands the next morning.
